Well, so far except for batteries replacement under warranty, my Jeep has been trouble free. If it didn't have that start/stop system I would have to give it a perfect 10. There are some things I love about it; one being how easy it is to change the oil. I come from the Toyota world where you have to remove the skid plate and lay on your back on the concrete with a special tool to remove the canister lid that usually doesn't cooperate. They designed it to be done on a lift......at the dealership.

It's funny because if you listen the social media you would think this is the worst vehicle ever made and the roadsides are littered with broken down Jeeps.

I am amazed how the Jeep seems to have a Love/Hate relationship with their owners.

I know on my forums many manufactures read posts like this and take them back to upper management. Select your rating and expound on it. Maybe as a group we can get our message to FCA management and help to shape the future of Jeep!

10. Best vehicle I have ever purchased
9. For the most part its exactly what I expected, Would buy again
8. Awesome vehicle can't wait for the next new model to buy
7. So, So, But it does the job. FCA could have done better for the price
6. I have had issues but got FCA took care of them, happy
5. Not unhappy, but not happy
4. Its been an uphill battle, I have had more then my share of problems
3. Not what I expected, I don't really feel Jeep Cares.
2. Its been an uphill battle, would not buy again
1. Total garbage, sorry I purchased and would not recommend.

Remember, select your rating and say why you feel this way! Cheers to all!

This should be a multiple response.

I love my Jeep. I have owned 12 of them and this 2023 JT is the best one yet.

But Stellantis/FCA/Jeep, and its dealers, make it very difficult for me to recommend them.

The stuff that comes out my dealer’s mouth is shockingly unethical and unprofessiona. To make matters worse, Stellantis/FCA/Jeep couldn’t care less.

I switched dealers. My new dealer is significantly farther away but a LOT better. Still, their service is not where it needs to be for vehicles costing this much.
I agree that Jeep’s customer service and warranty support are poor and need to be improved, and I think jeeps are over-priced, but a simple wrangler is pretty close to the cost of an average new vehicle these days. (According to Autoweek the average new vehicle is now about $50,000.) The new GMC pickup I looked at this weekend had a Monroni sticker of over $100,000.

Our jeeps aren’t in the high-end vehicle category that earns the special white-glove treatment expected by luxury import buyers. Jeeps are just a cool, but unnecessarily complex American vehicle. That complexity, and the modern deemphasis on customer service, have landed us in this place.

We won’t return to better customer service until the market demands it, and I don’t see that happening — because we’ve all been trained to tolerate/expect terrible customer service, from automated phone “service”, to 30 minute hold-times, to terrible lines at phone stores and banks, to ridiculous traffic and commute times, to the miserable customer-proof packaging that makes it nearly impossible to get what you bought out of the package. The list is endless. In the US, quality and customer service rank a distant second and third behind product price-point. That fundamental truth made Walmart what it is today.

It’s a 10 for me. I get so much joy for my Jeep. While it certainly isn’t close to being a great on the road. It certainly isn’t the worst. I like to tinker with stuff, so this fits within my wheelhouse. I lIke always looking for a way to improve my Jeep for off-roading. Make no mistake about it, Jeeps are one of the best off-road vehicles on the market…especially when modified.

The automotive industry, and consumers' expectations, have changed more in the last 15 years than in the prior 50.

This focus on larger screens, connectivity, the latest apps, etc., started with the advent of the iPhone. For better or worse, this is what consumers are focused on these days.
I feel personally that smart phones took the pressure off. I care about 3 things from my screens:
1) does it connect to my smartphone properly? Music and nav solved.
2) what is the sound quality? Jeep, don’t care so much. But I do on my other car so I have something to get rich music from while driving.
3) are essential controls built into the infotainment and do they have backups? Buttons/knobs are a big bonus to me. If EVERYTHING is in the touch screen it’s a major red flag for me (personally) and a sign I won’t want to hold the vehicle long term.
If I couldn’t count on my phone to handle music and nav I’d have a lot more choices to make based on the music storage and navigation options, on-board navigation, etc. and now the dreaded “fees” to pay for things you already bought. I’d need spreadsheets for driver controls AND dealer pricing.

Started out had 8 but has decreased to a 4…. The fun factor does not offset ongoing quality concerns.

1. What an absolute steaming pile of dog crap. Three bad batteries. Slow starting again. Performance Limited Service Fuel System. Dealer acts like they've never heard of it. Warning messages at random. Likely vacuum related but again, the dealer can't find the issue.
10. When you are out in the middle of nowhere with nothing more to hear than the breeze through the trees, the Wrangler is in a league of its own.

A 3. Ive had somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 jeeps and liked them all even the quality was good and had no problems.
This jl is nice but had uconnect problems, Molly problems, seat problems, paint problems, just on and on to many electrical gremlins. These were corrected by the dealer and service dept, but depends on your service advisor. That said, because of Stellantis /FCA/Jeep's attitude towards its customers and dealers, I will not buy from Stellantis/FCA/Jeep again. Thank god I bought the extended warranty. I think the only way Jeep can survive is for some one to purchase Jeep as a separate entity and own their own dealerships which also mean school trained technicians(Mechanics) and get rid of unnecessary electronics but offer as options for those who can't live with out them.

As a Jeeper since 1965 and beginning in 1984 when I got enough money to buy a second car, a new Jeep. So after about 18- 20 new Jeeps, all ordered except 2. I have never experienced issues that seem to challenge others.

In all these years only issues surfaced that caused my Jeep to spend the night in a dealer: Snapped drvers side rear axle: Determined to have had a flaw in it when it was machined. The other was a loose ground wire in the driver's side taillight.

2 of my Jeeps had over 100k miles, the rest anywhere from 25k - 45k miles at trade in.

This:
10. Best vehicle I have ever purchased
9. For the most part its exactly what I expected, Would buy again
8. Awesome vehicle can't wait for the next new model to buy

I’m a 9.
had a 2019 Moab, fun, it just ok no issues. Just bought a 2024 392! Wow! Amazing vehicle. Super fun. Almost as smooth on the freeway as my sporty Mercedes. Almost as fast as the sporty Mercedes. But really fun, and will go anywhere. Can be flat towed, a big bonus. It’s like a 1960s muscle car, just as noisy, but faster, with poor brakes and handling. Puts a big grin on my face every time I drive it. Passengers too!
such a huge improvement in every way over the last one.

I ve gotta say 5. It’s ok, but to me it seems that it completely lacks the character of the Jeeps that I enjoyed so much in days gone by. I enjoyed my old TJ’s a lot more than I have the JL. (Yeah, I know the JL’s are “more capable”). My TJ’s just fit me and my needs, the JL’s not so much. To ME, the JL is too much “car” and not enough “Jeep”. Different strokes/different folks. YMMV
