What is this warning light??

Hey All,

have a 2018 Jeep wrangler JL Sahara and this light came on could not find the meaning anywhere? Might be cargo light but I don’t have one then I noticed the wires from the defrost in the rear window was off could this be that? Anyone seen this before?

Nope clean as a whistle lol. Checked that thanks and no messages, no lights out nothing it’s weird and my cargo light works.

Correct and the cargo light works and is on and that’s not exactly what the symbol looks like

No. That broken connection is a separate issue.

We don't have anything in the JL that would normally trigger that light. Are you still running on your original OEM/factory battery or batteries (main and aux if you have one)? The stock battery/batteries are known to only last about 3 years. Past that and they cause all types of weird electrical issues. If you are on your original battery/batteries, you are due to change them asap. You can change the main and choose to replace or bypass the aux battery if you have one.

Nope replaced both of those batteries.

There is one vehicle sharing the same dash so I went to check the gladiator manual and this is apparently the cargo bed light. Your JL could evolve into a JT.

I don't know if you can turn it off, I tried in jscan and JL does have the bed lamp toggle but nothing happens when I tried to switch it on.

The dash is not receiving correct signal, all the dash light is actually just a flag. Eg. I can switch on start/stop light when the engine is running.

Did you check your dash light/cabin light adjuster? Left of steering wheel. If you happened to move it into an always on position maybe that is the problem? Or I could be way off....just throwing out ideas.
