I have a 2020 gladiator rubicon. This issue just started a few weeks ago. I was told the AUX battery is the issue but I don’t know. Has anyone had this issue and what was the cause of it.

This is a forum for the Jeep Wrangler. You may want to ask your question on the Gladiator forum - https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/

That being said, you have a 2020 model year vehicle. If you have the OEM/stock batteries, you are at the end of their usable lifespan and need to have both replaced. Old/dying batteries cause all types of electrical issues in the Wrangler and Gladiator.

This definitely looks like a symptom of bad batteries. I would replace both Aux and Main batteries and I would bet anything your problem will be solved.

And for the record, I'm not sure why this forum is specific to Wrangler when Gladiators are virtually the same beast and vice versa

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting battery?

Had my dash lights/display freak out one morning a while back in my 2020 JL , took it to dealer and they replaced both batteries under warranty and haven't had another issue

Definitely a battery power issue. Have both batteries replaced with a known good set.

That will stop the dash and wipers from freaking out, but it'll most likely happen again with the next push of the start button. It needs a new pair of main and aux batteries.

When I took mine in to Dealer and they tested it they said 1 of the batteries had an issue (I think it was the aux bat) but said that they needed to replace both batteries to make sure - so make sure to push for both being replaced, especially if under warranty still

Well it goes to the dealer this Friday and I will tell them about the battery. I told them. About it a week after I bought it and the dealer told me that the AUX battery just needs charged. I don’t want to eliminate the 2 battery system so in September I’m going to install the genesis dual battery system to get away from the smaller (lawn mower battery) AUX battery. Thank you for the info it is greatly appreciated.
