I've never heard of such a warning light. As far as I know my Lexus had no such warning light and that car had pretty much everything. I can't imagine it would be on a Wrangler ever.

Wow! Didn't expect such helpful replies. ;)

Honestly, it's surprising how well the road is lit by the passenger side headlight and the fog lights, so being brand new and never having driven it at night with both headlights functioning, no, it's not that noticeable that it's out.
However, considering we've had nothing but rain since it was delivered, and your headlights are supposed to be on in the rain, there would be no way to know it was out when it's not even dark outside.
I've never lost a headlight on any other vehicle, so I assumed, apparently incorrectly, that the warnings you get when other lights go out, would also apply to headlights.

And nerubi, The "POS" comment was about the LOANER CAR they had me in. It helps to read a little closer before coming off with a snarky comment that's caused by a lack of reading comprehension.

Sorry about that. Just used to so many people on the forum going ballistic over little things I didn't read past POS. One guy acted like the world was ending because he didn't like the way the seat fit him.

No worries. Just didn't expect to get piled on for a simple question.

I've helped numerous people on Viper, H1, motorhome, race car, etc forums because I've had all of mine at various stages of disassembly at some point since I do all of my own work outside of warranty work. So with being new here and nobody knowing me from Adam, I guess it was assumed my question meant that I wasn't "hardcore" enough and I didn't know anything about cars, which is an extremely incorrect assumption.

I more curious as to why a headlight failed on a new vehicle and would be more concerned about that.

While they're at it, they should also add a warning light to tell you that your warning light is out.

I agree with you about the fog lights. You could drive with them only if you had no headlights. I only have the halogens and they are so much brighter than my TJs or JKU. And yes, most loaner cars suck ;)

Your lights are out! Danger, Will Robinson . . . Danger!
Interesting fact. Those words, "Danger, will Robinson", were actually never uttered on the show but have been used commonly by many, including myself.

Sadly these days I get asked "Who's Will Robinson and why is he in danger"...

Those were the good ole days. Lol . . . I’d like to think that our mechanical friend actually uttered the warning.
