crazy with all these check engine light issues. I bought a 2018 Wrangler JL Rubicon on 10/9/2018 and two weeks later 900 miles CEL flashing with ENGINE STOP/START not available message on. Took it to AUTOZONE (due to it being a Saturday afternoon and out of town) they managed to pull P0301 (cylinder one multiple misfire) , took it to dealership that I bought it from and they were "unable to mimic the issue" opened a case with JEEP CARES because I was not pleased with that answer, they advised me to go to another dealership. so here we are ***A MONTH LATER*** and FINALLY other dealership was able to mimic CEL FLASHING above 4500rpm. I hope they can fix the problem and be sure to find out what it is, this is crazy, 50k vehicle and I only get to drive it TWO WEEKS!! been in nothing but RENTALS now.... oh and let me tell you all, this is my FIRST jeep EVER... way to go Jeep!! there needs to be BETTER engineering involved at your Factory's.

CEL with a bonus... Electronic Throttle Control! 5 weeks, less than 3k miles. Oh and second time CEL has come on. First was an oil temp sensor code. That part has not been fixed yet either.

And it just came on?? It didnt happen under acceleration? Did you pull the code?
No, i saw it when I first started the engine when I picked it up but thought it was still cycling through the start up procedure and didn't pay any attention to it. About 10 miles later I looked at the dash and it was still on. NO hard acceleration at all.

Stopped, pulled the code: P0403 - Exhaust gas recirculation control circuit. Jeep ran fine, gas mileage was about 17. It's at the dealer now.

My brand new Rubicon JLU (delivered August 6) had the Engine Check Light go on at 117 miles.
Drive it home and the light was off when I turned the Jeep on a few hours later.

At 290 miles it came on again.
Took it to the dealer but couldn't make a service appointment as I was having surgery the next day plus time to recover. Finally took it in Sept 11 and they "fixed" it (apparently a software issue).
Picked it up on the 12th and the light was on again. They reset the system and it seemed fine (off).

Wife is driving it today and the light came on again, AND the Stop/Start System Warning Light has come on. The wife also says it's nor accelerating as smoothly now an there's a slight "tremble" when the engine is running, not smooth like before.

Anybody have any experience with anything like this.Obviously I'm taking it in again, but this is a brand new Jeep and disappointed is an understatement,
Hey my 2018 Jeep Wrangler 4 door sport 3.6L v6 check engine light went on with 184 miles on it. Out of the dealer the “A” assist with the “!” Next to the “A” Has been on my dash since I left the dealer. I’ve owned many many new cars and have never had a check engine light go on ever

My 2019 Sahara just started with the stop start warning and it looked out on me. I'm pissed!

My 2019 Jeep JL Saraha had a check engine light come on 2 weeks ago when our family was about 1 hr into our vacation. Our gas mileage started to drop and then the start/stop light chame on followed shortly by the check engine light . We stopped by a dealership in KY and they discovered an oil leak that leaked onto the O2 sensor which caused the check engine light to come on. After about 2 weks they were able to get the O2 sensor and gasket installed but the check engine light came on again and they are now having problems getting the Chrysler computers to communicate with the JL to see what check engine light code was thrown. They advised a tech thinks its a wiring harness but the mechanic stated that the harness that the engineer's want them to change was not even touched. The part has to be approved by STAR and will take another 5 days to get. If this does not solve the problem they will be back at square one and still not enjoying the summer weather!!!!!

2019 JLU Sahara. Got CEL at about 900 miles; dealer said it was a "cracked purge valve". Waited 3 days for part, then dealer returned my Wrangler and said all better.
Now at 3990 miles, got CEL and the Stop/Start System Warning Light, showing a P0507 code. Made an appointment for service on July 5th. This is getting annoying on a fairly expensive brand new Wrangler!

Well a follow up to my earlier post. Jeep still at dealership. They have entire dash out replacing entire wiring harness behind the dash due to a bad harness. Service manager stated that they have a new part number for the wiring harness and have seem a few problems around the country with the harness. I am wondering if this was the electrical burning smell I noticed about a month ago.. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!!! I am hoping they do not scratch up anything while taking my brand new vehicle apart..
