It is an SUV, but in some technical manuals the wrangler is classified as a truck. Jeep, truck, or SUV all work, in that order for me personally.
It’s never a car.

I'm dying to know how you made that connection.Which is ironic because they are typically the ones who go on and on about your liberal citizens being "snowflakes", yet they are so easily offended by what someone else calls the vehicle they drive.
I'm thinking I would have gotten an Article 15 if I referred to my hmmwv as a car! At the very least, something physical involving muscle failureYou have to remember that "car" is short for "carrier", and the original Jeep was specifically designed to be a personnel carrier for the war effort.
Therefore, a Jeep is technically a car.
Having said that, in today's world semantics have changed so now we all think of cars as little two wheel drive coupes and sedans only.
No need to make this political...it isn't about liberals or conservatives, age or judging others, like you just did. It is simply about how a group of people with the Jeep in common refer to it. Wow.Which is ironic because they are typically the ones who go on and on about your liberal citizens being "snowflakes", yet they are so easily offended by what someone else calls the vehicle they drive.
Every time someone refers to a Jeep Wrangler as a car, God kills a kitten.
What he saidEvery time someone refers to a Jeep Wrangler as a car, God kills a kitten.
Just remember that :"JEEP" is an acronym: J-ust E-mpty E-very P-ocketHonest question - wasn't the Jeep designed to be a general purpose vehicle (GP = Jeep) and not just a personal carrier? I've seen versions with lots of other uses besides passenger carry.
That would mean that technically a Jeep is a GP is a Jeep.
Not every Joe-bag-o-donuts knows that.Reminder...
