As previously stated, very subtle. As in can’t tell a difference unless you are testing it out in the bottom of a coal mine on a moonless night.

Its what happens when the engineers get together and smoke something and decide to mess with Wrangler owners.

I tried it tonight in pitch black and it doesn’t do a thing. I don’t have any lighting inside the jeep but the cup holders, but nada…

True, but I figured they put that in there because it’s wired and you may buy the hard top later and have the defrost already set up.

I still haven’t learn to not use logic in an illogical world. If my logic was sound, I assume there also would be the rear windshield wiper knob too, which there is not. So who knows…

It is. That dimmer switch doesn't do anything in my Sport, since I've less ambient interior lighting than do other trim levels.

No wires, just the button. If I want to install a hard top, I would have to purchase the wiring kit which includes the parts for the windshield wiper wiring and washer tubing.
