Haven't been on for a while. It started out a good thing, my wife and I just bought a new house and I'd been busy with that. Then a couple weeks ago I was driving back to VA for work and rear-ended a CRV on I-95. Shop is ordering parts, once everything in they said it's a 32-day job.
Wife and I travel I-95 from Northern VA to VA Beach frequently (family there), never a dull day. We picked up a '21 4Runner Venture a few years back, and 1-month of owning....was boxed in on #1 lane with construction semi-truck to my right and it dropped fist-fulls of gravel all over the hood and front, windshield etc. $8,000 damage from gravel. Couldn't do anything about it including slowing down as there were several more of those semi's behind that one and it would have been a lineup of gravel fun. No plates on vehicles or placards indicating the company. Super frustrating. USAA said that they had over 20 similar claims that day alone from construction trucks and gravel.
I feel for you brother. Good luck. Happens to the best of us.
