Haven't been on for a while. It started out a good thing, my wife and I just bought a new house and I'd been busy with that. Then a couple weeks ago I was driving back to VA for work and rear-ended a CRV on I-95. Shop is ordering parts, once everything in they said it's a 32-day job.

Bummer, I certainly hope you're uninjured from the accident. Hope your Jeep gets back into working order soon as parts are hard to find these days.

How's the engine? I see the oil filter was crushed and split open... :(

Glad everyone was OK

So it was just the left front? I see suspension and maybe an axle but I don't see how that's 32 days of work. Definitely could have been worse.

Decent amount of paint and body, suspension, allegedly just a driver's side knuckle (not the whole axle), and a shiny new frame.

Damn, that LCA sure tacoed. I would have expected it to sheer a mounting point or bend, not serve as the crumple zone. Glad you’re okay, you'll be back on the trails in no time . . . or 32’ish days!

Yeah it adds up fast. My wife got hit or rather hit someone that pulled out in front of her and did $17K in damages. 3k for the airbag and another $5K for a rebuilt front axle.

if your LCA taco’d then the mounting tab on the axle got bent up. My shop said that once that happens they will replace the axle since it will never get bent back to how it needs to be.

Glad you're ok, and hope you're back to driving it, problem free, within a month or so. But how did the CRV look?

The air bag is big $$ when we t-boned someone that pulled out infront of us they ended up changing out entire steering column. They said it was standard procedure on newer vehicles.

Wow, they're able to source a new frame?
I dunno if they can, but they're gonna try.

Thought I had a good pic of it, looks like they missed it. Hopefully they swap over the TeraFlex trackbar bracket if they have to do the axle, too.

Not too bad, bumper cover, hatch, tail light, maybe the rear 1/4 panel. Theirs was drivable, I had an $850 tow.

Man that really sucks but glad your glad everyone walked away. You lucky to get your in so quick I've been told they won't even look at mine till mid Oct then order parts but I can only guess what it's going to cost on my end rough estimate is over 10k just parts not including paint and labor.
