I noticed my freedom panel bag seems to be defective unless I’m just not understanding how it works. It looks like I’ve got a foam piece in the groove where one of my panels is supposed to go. Am I missing something here?

Thanks. Still doesn’t make sense why there’s a piece of foam there. It seems like it would fit much better if the slots were both the same

Stopped using freedom panel bag, as zipper on bag was all screwed up. Just set panels in garage on towel at this point. Might see if zipper can be repaired

Mine looks the same. However, it seems that the foam is too thick in those spots and would be better if slightly shaved down. The zipper on it is far too snug because to me, they sit too high. If I were a betting man, I’d say the engineer said it worked perfectly in a CAD program, but in the real world, it sucks.

I only use the bag now to set my panels on it in the corner of the garage when I take everything off.

At least you have foam inserts. Our Gladiator came with a cheap bag I think the dealer bought off Amazon. We even showed them the bag that came with my Wrangler (from a different dealer). We eventually gave up arguing with them. We were less motivated to fight for it in the middle of winter.

Mine looks like that but it works fine, zipper is fine and roomy. I actually find the bag useful. It is a little convoluted how the panels are supposed to store but if you look closely at the diagram they indicate orientation and which one goes where.

Mine looks the same. You just need to make sure you are following instructions and it will work with out a problem.

The zipper can be a little tight if not fully inserted.

Good luck!

Same here. Falls into the category of "I don't have time for this shit."
