Just a heads up for those of you that plan on buying aftermarket wheels either now or down the road. I just bought a set of these bulge nuts and the bulge on these nuts makes them too wide to fit inside the holes on my Fuel Anza wheels.
I had the same issue. I bought 3 different sets of lug nuts before I found one that would work with my Fuel wheels. My issue was the hex size wouldn't allow a socket to get inside the hole to tighten the lugs or the bulge was too big. After running all over town looking, I found a set at a small tire shop that had a no name aftermarket lug with a 3/4 hex, a large cone area (almost as large as stock), and deep enough for the long studs. The tire shop guy told me he uses those exclusively on trucks with aftermarket wheels since most of them have the same problem I did. I ended up using a 3/4 thin wall 12 point socket to install them. But be advised, don't hammer them on with an impact. It's easy to bust the socket and damage the wheel. I zipped them on with my cordless 1/2 drive and then final torqued them with a torque wrench.

They are 14mm x 1.50. the 14mm is the stud size, the 1.50 is the thread pitch.

So I'm reviving a year+ old thread as this was the best source of information on my particular question...

I have a set of Method 701's and I was shopping around for black colored lugs to attach them with... Who knew this was not as simple as I thought it was going to be.

I was considering purchasing this set of Gorilla's from Quadratec:

https://www.quadratec.com/p/gorilla...-23pc-kit-78-hex-14mm-x-1-19-jeep-wrangler-jl

Mostly because I'm not the biggest fan of Spline-style lugs and this had enough lugs included in the set (compared to say the set of Method brand lugs) that would also cover securing the spare tire.

Now i am concerned that the set I linked above will be too wide/big to fit with my Methods (and there is even a warning blurb on Quadratecs website stating a potential conflict with aftermarket rims). Does anyone have any specific experience with these lugs on Method wheels (potentially even the 701's in particular?)

Ultimately if I have to, I will go to Spline lugs (Gorilla branded, probably) but was hoping someone might have any additional information on this subject.

TLDR: Will the above lugnuts (in the link) fit on Method 701's? If not, which set will?

Here's something for comparison. I have the Mcgards with a 22mm hex head (0.866") and 1.6" long. The Gorilla's are 7/8 (0.875"). Both have the same M14x1.5 dimension. My ICON Rebound's lug nut hole has a 1.15" inside diameter. A 13/16" and 21mm socket are the largest socket sizes that will fit. I started to order an extra thin walled 22mm so I could keep the Mcgards but I doubt if that would fit. You can see what I mean from this pic. I'm getting M14x1.5 spline nuts tomorrow that are slightly thinner and longer. Got my fingers crossed.

Keep me updated as I believe this is the exact scenario I will be running into. Looks like I will have to order a set of spline lugs as well to make it the easiest to work with and to maintain my sanity.
