Off-Road Training Required to Off-Road in Utah (Starting Feb 1, 2023) -- for vehicles with OHV plates

It looks like we'll need to complete a course to go off road in Utah starting February 1st.

Edit: as @Sublime pointed out, this is for off-highway vehicles only, not Jeeps.

Ahhh, you may be correct. It looks like it's explicitly for off-highway vehicles.

It could be for Jeeps. Depends on how you have it registered.

If it's registered with a plate that allows use on the highway (most of us), the course isn't needed.
If it's registered with an OHV plate then it is required.

Good, might cut down on assholes in side by sides being destructive, leaving their trash, and driving off trail.
