Upgraded brakes to Powerstop Z36 rotors, pads, brake line extensions, and upgrade front Sport Calipers to Rubicon Calipers. Brakes feel the same if not maybe softer.

I have a 2018 JLU 2.0, 3.5 MC game changer lift, and on 35s.

It was suggested to have the dealership flash the brake module?? Is that a thing. Person suggest the module is set at the pushing brake fluid for the Sport caliper and not the upgraded Rubicon calipers.

Any help or suggestions? Please?

First you should do a ABS bleed. You may have air in the system and the only way to remove it is with an ABS bleed.
Also a brake upgrade like Teraflex Delta brakes. The Delta brake are amazing. It is what I finally went with. They use Toyota Tundra pads and anti knock back springs behind each caliper piston giving you a amazing brake pedal.
Here is a video explaining how air may get into the system.

I know a lot of people here will cringe about this one but…for Lotus Elise/Exige owners…and others I’m sure…one trick is to find a stretch of empty road, build up some good speed and then slam on the brakes hard enough to engage the antilock brakes. It causes the valves to activate and push all of the air out of the module.

Will that actually work? How fast do I have to go?

Thank you. I’ll try that before going to the dealership

Did you follow Power Stop's instructions for break in prior to regular use? Those steps they outline are critical.

For pavement it’s usually a pretty spirited run before hitting the brakes. I was thinking of this from a track car perspective but @azwjowner makes a good point. Jeeps are made for off-road. It shouldn’t take much effort to get the antilock brakes module to kick in if you’re off pavement.

Did this last night 3x on a dirt road. Immediately after the pedal felt stiffer with a better response. I think it worked. Thank you for the help.

Jscan, Taser, and many other scan tools will provide procedures to activate abs for bleeding it. Its more effective than slamming on the brakes.

Tazer (Zautomotive) does that now? I think I asked for this Tazer mini feature a year or two ago.

Yeah, I thought only J scan did this outside of the dealership, of course. I’m curious about other options though.

I thought I had heard this. But, I'm probably mistaken.
