It should be good. I have the Rusty’s Offroad tire carrier and installed it myself. There is a reinforcement bracket and new hinges which beefs it all up pretty good.
That sounds like fun for sure. We’ve done China dam and Tule Homestead before. Pretty view. And that climb from the creek is fun. Can you screen shot private message me the route? I’d love to do this trail.
No issue from noise on mine at all. I concur with DadJokes. Check the torque on all the mounting bolts. I don’t have any running. I used a heat gun and a ball hitch to make a nice notch in the fender liner. Worked for me. Good luck with it. I do agree these are awesome and the best option out...
I use ApexDesign AutoLynx. Its a new concept that works awesome!! I've had them for over 8 months and wheel every weekend. No cutting, and all you do is turn a knob and your disconnected.

I agree with CarbonSteel. I have a 18 JLU Sport 2.0L. I ran 35s with my stock 3.45 gearing and it ran fine. No loss in get up an go and no loss on the trail. It ran fine. The only loss is in the mpg. That being said, I just upgraded about 3 months ago to D44 Rubi take offs. I did this for the...
I just did this about 2 months ago on my 2018 JLU Sport. Yes you need a Rubicon length Tie Rod. I did not need to extend my emergency brake lines. I re-routed the lines under the crossmember which also helps keeping them from being ripped out when articulating your rear axle. You don’t need new...
Are you saying the entire shaft is rotating? Or the silver ring under the blue knob. I’d get a grease pencil and mark it on the nut and shaft maybe. If its the ring under the knob #1 in pic attached then I can send you the fix for that. If it’s the entire shaft then Is say re-loctite and tighten...
Are you talking about the blue knob rotating around with the silver ring base under it? If so I did have that with mine. I reached out ApexDesign and AJ instructed me on how to fix it. If it’s the same thing as mine there was little to no red loctite on the nut under the blue knob. I’ll look for...
Trails Off-road just came out with an App as well. Haven’t used it on a trail yet but plan to do so soon. I played around with it and you can upload all the trails for your state for off line use when you don’t have cell service. I checked out a hard rock crawling trail and it gives you...
I have a similar set up that I just installed. I am curious, I checked my MXT275 with a SWR meter and my readings are at 2.8 on channel 1 and 2.5 on channel 22. I emailed Midland and they stated that the MXTA26 antenna would not have to be trimmed and that these readings are too high. They...
You get the same amount of flex as if you did not have took your sway bar links off. Essentially when you unlock the AutoLynx you sway bar is completely disconnected. Have had mine for 6 months and haven’t looked back. There is no on road sacrifice either.
That's awesome work. This is the exact spot where I want to mount my MXT275 when I get it. Would you be willing to make another mount and sell it to me?
I currently use both. The tracking for OnX and Gaia GPS is pretty similar. They both have the same features as far as adding way points, pictures, or sharing with others. I use Gaia GPS in conjunction with Trails Offroad (which is also a paid service for access to all their trails). You can...
