Thanks. Checked Thursday and it was still 2024.09. Installation took about 30 minutes. It shows a new local road that was not shown in 2024.09.

Download was simple and went perfect. Right at about 31 minutes.
If your like I am... stuck on an Apple laptop or iMac just put in the Parallels opertaing system and it will work.

Yes, had the same issue with my MAC. I finally ended up putting Parallels on my Mac and now it is works for the download.

I found a HP on Amazon with MS Office and Windows 11 Home for $156. It's slow but I don't game or multitask so no problem. The way I look at it I bought Office (LibreOffice doesn't always work) and got a laptop for $27. 😂

Good afternoon. Either am having a brain fart or my radio head is refusing to play nice with me.

First I attempted to access the new map from connect.Jeep dot com web page. It finds my vehicle and shows the new map version. I click download and the circle spins a few times and then stops....nothing downloads.

Next I reached out for assistance via their chat and the suggested that I download the FCA Toolbox to my PC, then take a thumb drive out to the Jeep and plug it in, then follow these directions shown here: INSTRUCTIONS Well, I am unable to find any icon anywhere that says "MAP UPDATE"

So then they tell me to download the map from from this web site. I was able to download the map, unzip it and move it to my thumb drive. When I plug it into the USB port, the light on the thumb drive blinks a couple of times and then stops. I've used this option before & it worked fine.

Do any of you have any thought as to what I am doing wrong?
Depends if you are using a MAC based or PC based system. Also, the latest update from Stellantis is V. 2025.6. I goty it in an over the air update on my 2024 Wrangler Rubicon X 4Xe. You will never get it updated via Apple.

I'm using the PC with Windows. I have v.2025.6 downloaded and unzipped. Only the 8 map files were moved to the thumb drive. (The last update before this installed flawlessly using the same machine and thumb drive)

For the OTA updates, do they download via satellite or wifi?
They downloaded over satellite and really in the middle of an inopportune time. I was in the middle of a Jeep trail in Colorado and had no idea where I was. Sat on that trail for 30 minutes while it updated. Also, it will change the way you refresh your Uconnect system. It used to be that you could soft reset your radio while driving down the road. Now it has changed where you have to be stopped, and have it on ignition only and only in the run position for it to reset correctly.

RETIRED!
I finally got the V.2025.6 update to install via the thumb drive. It took multiple attempts and on the final try for the night, I reformatted the thumb drive again. This time I didn't select the quick format option and when the format was complete, I copied the files over to the thumb drive from the PC. It took about 40 minutes for the map files to transfer to the infotainment head.
