Seems like a decent price, but people here have mentioned that the latest update only gets you 2022 maps.
For most of us the navigation systems available through Android Auto or CarPlay are orders of magnitude better. Hold the talk button on the steering wheel and say your destination. Routes you around traffic, etc.

Not to mention some areas aren't updated as of 2017, even with the latest maps. Buddy of mine has a '21 Willys, I've got an '18, and our maps are identical.

Believe it's just an update of the maps?
If that's true and you don't use the navigation then why update it? I've never heard of people liking the navigation system in their car, most just use Waze or Google Maps.

I get them also, I ignore them. Nav on our system is not very good anyway, but not like they built a ton of roads in Alaska in the last 2 years either seems like a total waste. Not to mention the better maps on android.

Why spend the money on maps that are out off date the next day (or before) you receive them.

For daily driving I use CarPlay but, on road trips the Uconnect is nice because it displays exit info.. A $100 every couple of years is worth it for me. I spend way more on dumber shit than that all the time.
