My screen flickers and the NHTSA website says that it is resolved with an update of the Uconnect that would come out in the first quarter of 2021.

You may just have to go to the dealership for the update.

As I said before, the dealership knows only one statement: "Everything is fine, your JLU does not need any updates." Why do they do that? I don't know, probably because they can't charge for the service or just more simply, they don't know how to do it.

Basically this is why I am looking for the update here.

It’s because they are a year behind this forum. Chances are they don’t even know about the OTA that is being released to correct the camera lines. I read about them on this forum before I took delivery of my Jeep. Day of delivery I had no lines and the dealer seemed genuinely stunned.

Have you tried a hard reboot? Disconnect all batteries, wait 10 minutes. Reconnect and restart.

I was among the unlucky whose unit got bricked with “error code 20.” I just got back from the dealership where they replaced my unit. I can confirm 34.5 is the latest for 2018’s. Right away I noticed that it’s more responsive, and they consolidated audio apps into a new media button. Cool.

I only have my ride home under my belt so far, but everything works. I have backup lines, off-road pages, and Sirius.

Just to update: I did the update 2 weeks ago and my back up lines have been on every single time! (Knock on wood). Here's to hoping it rolls out to everyone soon and fixes the problems for everyone!

no luck here. According to driveuconnect.com my software is up to date and lines still missing.

Oh well. At least my camera has not gone black in a while
