Wanted to post a follow up to this as I recently took my 4xe to the dealer for my (long overdue) 500 mile inspection and a recall campaign (Y46).

The guys at the dealership seemed a bit flabbergasted by the sheer number of software updates there were already for the 4xe: the guy helping check me in asked a few people,"is this right -- are there really that many?"

Anyway, they kept the Jeep for the entire day to take care of it all, but I am so insanely happy now. The Max Regen button now retains it's state after shutting off the vehicle which means no more having to remember to press it each time I start up.

I just updated my replacement radio in my 2018 running 28.3 to 39.5 from that cloud storage link and it went nice and smooth. I'm not sure what has changed or been improved, but the "Since 1941" under the Jeep logo on the start up screen is a nice touch.

Well, I'm not sure what happened, but about 10 -12 days ago, my radio started rebooting every 4 minutes (doesn't matter if the jeep is on or off). I have zero satellites so the Navigation doesn't work, the clock now is losing 3 minutes a day.
Reading different posts over the last few days, I've tried everything. Pulling the battery for at least 20 minutes to pulling the radio completely. When I pulled the radio it was warm, thou my Jeep had been parked in a cool garage for at least 2 days.
Reading different post, I'm seeing post from 2019 and 2020 about this same problem. Firmware update. I'm at 19.11.4c and see the latest is 21.10. I can do the firmware update, but it takes 20+ minutes. If the radio reboots during the update I can toast the radio.

Unfortunately, the lack of satellites, navigation being off, and clock being wrong are all indicative of the infamous aircard failure. No update can fix that as it is a hardware issue.

If you can get your hands on a replacement aircard, it's not a difficult process to replace (hunt around here and YT for videos on doing it). Another option is to send it to Infotainment.com and they'll replace it for you as well. It ain't cheap, but still cheaper than a new radio (if you even find one).
