I'm not the OP but I can tell you that it's a GREAT upgrade. Taking the top off feels more stable than it did with the Lange bracket. I'm not sure what you mean about reduced width span though.

There is DEFINITELY something to this. I wiped out all of my favorites, and started clean. I had added about 10 before the issue began again. I added both artists and songs. Maybe if I delete the songs, it'll work?

It seems to be fixed now! I noticed the other day a message that something SXM was downloading (the text appeared just above the first icon on the bottom bar). Since then, my favorites have been solid as a rock!
