It has been very intermittent. It first did it while I was in the construction on 95 and the jeep was bouncing around. I thought it was a loose wire, maybe a cannon plug half in on the back of the unit. They never pulled my UC out and spent the whole time sending software codes back and forth with corporate. We will find out if there is a loose wire on Monday when they install the new unit. Hopefully they will send my old one back to FCA to see if there is anything messed up with it.
Mine just cycles off and onI’m the guy that has been dealing with it for three weeks. My video is posted in the issues compilation sticky. You are the fourth person I’ve heard it happen to. Corporate has ordered me a new unit and I’m waiting on it to come in. Tell your dealer there is a FCA Star case on the issue, they were expecting more cases.

My system worked perfectly today. If it’s rebooting or freaking out it is probably something to do with the UC box itself. I never called Uconnect on mine, only dealt with my dealer and then corporate.
I understand completely. I’m going on week 4 and it has been very frustrating. I’m scheduled to get my new unit on Monday which I had asked for on day one. I have felt better that my dealer, the corporate engineers and now the Jeep Cares ladies have been involved. I’m glad that they put this really cool computer screen in a vehicle that the roof comes off.
