For those that have this installed how far does the back wall sit from the seat backs? Looking at putting the seat recliners in and want to make sure the seats won’t be hitting it. Also does anyone have the Mopar cargo mat with this? Does the back wall sit flush with the carpet? Can a mat fit between the wall and the floor?

Based on measurements earlier in this thread (pg 6 & 7), the security deck won't fit with the seat recline mod - it needs 7/8" additional space at the top. I don't think anyone has actually tested it with both yet.

I believe the cargo mat would need to be modified to fit - the side walls of the deck mount to one of the bolts with the tie down rings (middle ring, if I remember correctly).

The back-of-seat portion of the mopar cargo mat should fit, I think there is like a 1 1/2" gap between the rear top of the deck and the seat back. May also be enough space to slot it the soft top windows and rear. Just guessing on this one though.

I have the Tuffy deck and Mopar mat. It all fits, no problem. I do not believe that the recline mod will fit with the deck with no mat, and it would absolutely not fit with the mat as well without modifications. The lid is a very snug fit against the tailgate. The seat would fit against the box, which would push the lid into the tailgate. I'd love for you to prove me wrong because I'd love to add the recline mod!

No the lock for the tailgate is disabled. You have to unlock it with the key or remote

I take it you mean that the tailgate lock is disabled when you take the top off as a result of disconnecting the harness in the rear.

Is that correct? I was just wondering this today because I think this may be my next purchase.

I don’t think so. Even with the top on. Turn off the Jeep and lock it. Walk away... if someone tries to hit your power unlock to get the tailgate open it won’t work. You can’t hit the power unlock when the vehicle is off and parked.

Ah. That makes sense that the key can't be close. I was trying it this morning and it would unlock, but that's because my key was in my pocket! Duh...

I just received my Security deck... will be going in this weekend.

I loved my security deck in my JK - found out the hard way that it doesn't work with the JL and trail rail kit. Bummer.

I’ve probably already commented in this thread lol but the Tuffy deck was my first mod and was probably the most important it’s awesome and fits really well. I had the top coated with Line-X and it’s really tough and even more practical now.

Newbie here. Just got back into another Jeep (this is now my 3rd wrangler, 4th jeep). Does anyone have the security deck that also has the mythical soft top window storage bag? I can see there is some space between the seats and the deck, but doesn’t seem like the bag will fit there.
