My '21 392 has ~22k miles on it and started having the occasional SERV 4WD lights that would drop me out of 4L, which turned into occassionally getting it in regular driving, to always having it in regular driving to now telling me that the transfer case temperature is high and 4wd is temporarily unavailable during highway driving (all while waiting on a dealer appointment).
I got a call from my service guy today letting me know they identified that the transfer case has had an internal failure but that the service manager was reaching out to Chrysler to see if it would be covered under warranty due to my "heavy modifications" and so I wanted to see if anyone else has had warranty declined due to mods while I'm waiting to see if I'm going to have to fight them or not.
Mods are: 4.56 gears, 38" Trail Grapplers, Mopar beadlock wheels, RK 2.5" lift. There's a handful of other mods (chopped fenders, inner liners, skid plates, etc) but nothing else that touches the drivetrain. Is this really "heavily modded" enough to deny warranty for a transfer case failure?

. Dealer quoted me a complete replacement at $5500 and Atlas quoted me $52XX shipped so decision looks like it will be easy enough.
