Guys, I have decided, 2,000 miles or 2 months whichever comes first. Time to order a bunch of PUP. A case of 3 is going for $71.34, two cases per year for me 😃👍

Note that your "thingy" mentality makes it challenging to determine if you're serious or not, especially when talking about "Pentasters".

I personally am not fond of the taste of pens, but I'll let those pen tasters do their thing. Maybe it's an untapped market for pics of @Flip's feet? Neither sounds tasty to me, but hell, this is America.
From now on pictures of my feet will costyaplenty $$$.

Better hurry, my bunions are getting larger by the minute and I think I'm losing a toe nail.

Heavier Oils always quiet the valve train - considerably.
Nope. Not always. I have heard many Pentastars on 5w30 that are noisier than mine. But then again, noise is very subjective.

Sir, some naysayers to short oil changes say that the detergent in the new oil is very strong, and it will wash away the anti-wear additives on the surface of the engine. And that the wear metals in the early stages of the new oil are higher because of that. So they say that super short oil changes is not a good idea ☹ Do you think they're right?
LOL, anti-wear additives on the surface of the engine? Do they think the additives jump out of the oil and grab hold of the metal?? There is a lot of funny stuff out there. This one is among the funnier ones I have heard.

I don´t think a super short oil change hurts a thing. But I don´t think it necessarily does anything great, either. The only early changes I do are at the beginning of the life of a new engine to get rid of break-in metal, silicone from sealers, and other leftovers. But do what makes you feel good. 3k won´t hurt a thing. Just a waste of money, IMO. But if it made me feel good, that is probably cheaper than medicating or drinking. So probably worth it.

I had a fifth generation 4Runner before my Jeep. Turning that thing on would wake up the whole neighborhood, that's the noisiest engine I've ever heard. It felt like one gallon of gas was gone in that first few moments. And when it idled it sounded like diesel. It was stock and it's MPG was worse than my Jeep on 37s

People say the 5th generation 4Runner is absolute bomb proof. So far my lil Jeep has been that bomb proof, I so hope it stays like that.

Or jump it repeatedly.

Come on world, you tell me someone has not come up with a roller rocker for the 3.6?

This screams mass recall, lawsuits, etc.
I will second that comment!
I just put my 2019 JLU R into the shop a week ago for a cam replacement! This is on a rebuilt engine replacement in December for the same problem. About 10K miles this time!
About time Jeep steps up and recalls or extends the warranty indefinitely for this problem!
It is absolutely ludicrous in this day and age for the rocker arm to have a teflon bushing!

Enjoying their intact head gaskets
Also enjoying not smelling coolant every time they drive all the time, and never having to refill the coolant bottle.

Is this issue unique to the latest generation of the 3.6? If so, when was that gen released?

Where are all the 2.0 Turbo haters now? Ha.
Enjoying their extra 50HP+ vs the 3.6 in the most often used part of the rpm range 1,500 to 5,000 rpm. Look at the power curve comparison.

It's quite amazing how some people go out of their way to choose a decrepit, soon to be out of production engine, vs a more powerful (in the RPM range that counts), more torquey, more modern, more reliable engine. But hey 'murica 6 is > 4.
