So working on the build up of my two door and we seem to have an issue with the front track bar rubbing the diff at times. We thought the Yukon cover was too big so went to the Motobilt option but after a wheeling trip same thing though less so.

Yeti XD Pro Track Bar
RPM Steering Components
Synergy 2” Springs
Stock Control Arms

We are getting a ton of flex but this is last real hurdle. Will let the shop play with it next week but any suggestions??

My 2 cents….. sell the yeti tb and buy literally anything else…… I don’t have anything against Steersmarts, but I’ve never liked that tb…. Not a fan of the pinch bolt design…Yours is not the first issue with this tb, and it definitely won’t be the last……

Just to be clear, you HAD a Yeti diff cover and the Yeti trackbar was making contact with it? You’d think they would at least make sure their own parts could play nice…

I know teraflex isn’t a fan favorite but their trackbar clears my ARB diff cover no problem.

There’s been quite a few people that have had same issues with their yeti TB. Rotate the clamp a little towards the front and see if that clears enough. I have a rancho. They’re cheap and bulletproof. They make really nice hard parts. But people don’t buy as often because of the name lol

So after crawling under it and checking it out it is mostly the rub on the top left weld that seems to be the thing and is in the curve of the track bar it seems.

Will see if they have another option for track bar or anything else to try.

Are you sure the adjuster knob on your stabilizer isn't what's contacting the cover?? I had the same problem with my teraflex adj stabilizer and arb diff cover.

Metalcloak clears my ARB. My old Rock Krawler TB just barely rubbed, and the newer style Rock Krawler bar should clear.

I tried many different track bars including the yeti all had clearance problems
I finely settled on the Synergy Jeep JL / JLU / JT HD Adjustable Front Track Bar
It is bent both to clear diff covers and sector shaft brace
I have the Synergy on both my Rubicon and Willys
Never had a problem and super easy to adjust

Ran into this many times in doing builds.

So I stretch/shorten the wheelbase.

First you need to take a measurement of the amount of the hit you taking. If it bangs and inch then swap out the cover. If its a fraction then adjust your front ADJUSTABLE Control Arms to give more space.

Mark a vertical line with a marks a lot pen on the threads and the bushing. Now screw in or screw out COUNTING the turns for each.

I start out by doing about 2 turns per CA, see if it works. This makes the assumption that your are properly dialed in already. Typically and my exp is it does not change parameters and you get the clearance you need.

If that does not work then a new diff cover may be in your future...

Note I have been successful taking this approach and stretching my wheel bas by as much as 4- 5 inches. I had to cut out the gas tank cross member and move the tank backwards then build a new cross member at the end of my rear frame. I also cut off my steering assembly and rotated it down and forward which moved it out and put the drag link in parallel with the Axle and ground plane...DW never raised its ugly. head again in the next 80k plus miles.

up but no interference issues, maybe because I have a Willy’s smaller front differential?
