So I took my ‘19 JLU to the dealer for a routine LOF and 5 way tire rotation. I normally air my 35” tires to 37psi and have never had a problem. The TPMS indicator light is now on but reads the appropriate tire pressure on all four tires and there are no other error messages. When I picked my Jeep up, the pressures all read 39psi and they said that a high psi could trip the light. However, all five tires were deflated to 37psi but the light persists. I have driven about 100 miles. Help and suggestions appreciated.

Could it be a faulty sensor or battery gone bad?

I know most people like tpms that's fine I get it. I for one do not like it. I grew up without it very easily. I still check and kick the tires. Tpms has been nothing but a nuisance to me. I disabled mine the day I bought my Jscan, love it. Rant over, sorry.

I hope you get it figured my friend.

Door placard is 36 (if I remember correctly) so no way the light should come on for 37 or even 39. It is about 8% higher it would come on.

Reset and do another relearn. Lower to about 26 and drive around the block. Come back and fill to 36 and go drive again. Then once that is complete and if all the lights are off fill to whatever you like.

Usually if the light is on solid while reading the correct pressures it is indicating another issue. For example the early 2018's (like ours) were known for this. Once going to a bigger tire the signal became weak because of Jeep antenna issues. The light would stay on but read the correct pressure and that was because if the system can't see the pressure at every tire rotation it thinks there is an issue even though at certain rotations it picks up the correct pressure.

Good luck.
