Putting new tires on wheels and called Jeep for a price on the sensors.
Crazy expensive. Where has everyone else purchased sensors, aftermarket or OEM?

You can look on eBAY for a deal..Mopar: 68241067AB.
Also, Discount Tire stores have a generic that works according to two guys here. Talk to your local tire store about generic.. Tell them same one as JK will do if their data base does not show JL.

Thanks, how about reliability on these aftermarket units?

I am getting ready to install 35’s next week. Could I not use the sensors from my stock JL wheels?

YES, you can use the stock/factory TPMS sensors on your new wheels.

Sensors, regardless of brand, can and do fail on occasion. Discount Tire, for one, undoubtedly, would not be selling a TPMS sensor that they found was problematic or prone to issues.

Yeah .... obviously, you have to get sensors that work with your vehicle.

Has anyone found a good replacement for the OEM sensors? Or even a source for the originals that just isn't $80+?

No reason at all to be paying that much "$80+" for a TPMS sensor that will work with the JL. The same ones that work with the JK work with the JL. You can get generic offerings for $15+ each.

Google search using the Mopar: 68241067AB ----all you need is a compatible to this part #.

You can get Shrader brand here for $39.00 each.

There was a forum that said that they work and they were universal for the jk and JL

So you believe only the OEM/Mopar TPMS sensors will work on the JL? Can tell you that your belief is incorrect.

Thanks, that is pretty much exactly what i was looking for. I've seen a bunch for $50 each but this is much better.

I believe he's saying the specific ones he got did not work. What brand were they?
