So I've been meaning to make this post for a while - but does anyone have problems with their JL leaking in touchless, automatic carwashes? I have 'leaks' at the bottom of the front doors - when the high pressure sprayer is there, it actually gets my leg wet. I also have leaks at the back hardtop window (where it meets the tailgate).

I know Jeeps leak, and honestly - I'm not too concerned; just wondering if this is 'normal' for the JLs.

....same same but mine sprays through the rear doors at the point where the hard top and body align.....I am going to discuss this with the dealer but my JK never did such shenanigans.....

What brand / type of sill guards did you install? Sill guards.... if you made a bad choice of same, may be the reason for the front door(s)water spraying in issue.

I’ve had my doors and hard top on and off multiple times, and gone through car washes with hard top on multiple times - zero leaks! ? So far… ?

It depends on the nozzles, pressure, and exactly where they strike. Which is to say sometimes.

Depends on how much pressure and where applied…I pressure wash and never have leaks.

I go thru a touchless wash about 1x per month in the winter if possible. Never had a leak (2 door sport, no door sill guards).

i have a 2 door sport with a soft top and have never had a leak. It probably depends on the car wash, pressure or nozzles and the height and angle. The car wash you go through may be angled just right... as long as its minor, I wouldnt worry about it

I never thought about that - I'm running Rugged Ridge sill guards.

I've gone through a few different ones - and they are all the same (especially the back hatch area).

@Maverickxeo

Well, good chance the water ingress issue is related to those sill guards.

Quadratec and Rugged Ridge sill guards look/are pretty much the same. With that in mind read here: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/quadratec-entry-guards.20969/

Consider removing the sill guards, water test and then reinstall armed with inf you read at the thread I have given you.
