Don't wait for a Chinook, just go to a parking garage for an hour and that'll melt it.I have had my hard top start to leak in the winter due to ice building up in the freedom panel joints. I've had to wait for a good chinook to blow through to warm up everything to reseat the panels.
A friend in town was complaining about unsticking/unfreezing windows and asked to use our garage, and I just said "Dude, park at the Mall" and he was shocked like he had an epiphany as he hadn't thought of it. Even in small towns use the Best Western parkade for an hour or whatever.
If you live in a very remote area without covered or underground parking then you're outta luck, and gotta drive a bit to accomplish that, and you could even park in your dealerships bay for 20+ mins while you talk to them about some concerns you heard about a Wrangler TSB/recall (airbag is likely a good ongoing excuse that's their problem).
