I was driving around today in my field dropping of mulch with my back window up when I realized there was no warning on my dash to alert me that the window was not closed. It got me to thinking of other safety features that should be standard with the Jeeps in this era. Why doesn't my Uconnect auto route me to a gas station when I am at 1/4 of a tank? Shouldn't my front camera record speed limit signs and throttle my engine? Why don't my mirrors throw an error if they cannot see the whites of my eyes before the vehicle is in motion? If I turn my music up too loud, shouldn't the Jeep dynamically change the volume to preserve my hearing? What other safety features should be added to the JL?

How long were you driving w/ the back window open?

Helicopter parents are bad enough. Now you want your Jeep to helicopter too?

Perhaps focus on being a competent driver. Then you won't need stupid nanny features.

It was either the fumes then or the tequila now, but still... Why doesn't my jeep detect rain and auto roll my windows up?

Auto park is bad enough, some nanny stuff is too much.

So let’s be honest you are buying a jeep wrangler! If you want a vehicle that offers the kind of things your are mentioning, then obviously the wranglers shouldn’t be an option for you, buy a BMW or Mercedes or Audi etc that will offer all you’re asking and more, all I ask of my jeep is when there is a decent amount of snow or mud etc in my way I know it’s got me! ???? I don’t need it to tell me you got a door open cause most of the times I don’t even have doors on it! ?

How about adding a programmable shift light for manual transmission owners to remind us to shift at predetermined RPM's. ?

Why not programmable trail plans, seems to me Jeep could program all the correct lines into a system like Tesla’s autopilot system and I could just let the Jeep take me on a trail run. I could even read a magazine or catch up on work while the jeep did all the hard stuff. Sarcasm of course.

In truth, I ditched the nanny modes on my last car on purpose. It was cool at first, but driving got so vanilla so fast, I was super bored. The Jeep is such a more dynamic experience, quirks and all.

I know this was written in sarcasm but I've been glad the safety features are on my Jeep, they've actually do draw attention when you might need it.

If you want to pay $120,000 for a Wrangler, I'm sure Jeep would be happy to build it like this.
Your a bit low— the local dealer has one approaching $120,000 now, 392 XR with all the boxes checked and $19,995 mark up.

Call me old fashion, but one thing Jeeps Don’t need are more Nannie’s. Too many already. I enjoy driving-if I didn’t I’d get a Tesla?
