I have done tire size, tpms threshold, highbeam dropout. I wish it could disable 3 honks.



I havent done hood alarm, I wonder if I even can. I got manual locks. may I ask where you go to activate hood switch to the alarm?
In Jscan, go to Adaptations>>>scroll down to VTA-Vehicle Theft Alarm Settings>>>VTA Hood Ajar Monitoring on/off

I bought this one, plugged it in and played with it without SGW bypass harness therefore could only look at settings. Been busy, need to see what all I can get done with it.

ESS is set to disable automatically, but I can turn it back on...via my tune from @bmpcamry09

I want the three honks when closing door with keyfob inside to go away!

I was also able enable remote start. first I have buy two new keys, then swithed the blades, switched imobilliser chip and then enable it with Jscan. during winter I use it every day to heat up the car.

Is this checking the actual health of the 12V battery?

I'm still on my original 12v from the factory October 2021.
Yes the 12V battery. The IBS tracks only the CR[an]K battery, but an AUX (ESS) battery can/does have an effect on some of the data (you have a 4xe, but just sayin').

The starting point is:
MODULES -> Body Controller -> LIVE DATA -> Intelligent Battery Sensor State of Charge - (%)

That'll tell you how charged the Jeep thinks your battery is. Don't be surprised to see it around 80%, but if it's below 65% some features might be disabled - ESS certainly will be for Jeeps that started life with an AUX (ESS) battery.

This next one will give you an approximate idea of the battery's resting voltage (note that it only has data under certain conditions, and often shows a default value of 15.23):
MODULES -> Body Controller -> LIVE DATA -> Intelligent Battery Sensor Voltage Before LIN Wakeup - (V)

You can also look at IBS Voltage, Current, and Temperature to observe real-time charging/discharging:
MODULES -> Body Controller -> LIVE DATA -> Intelligent Battery Sensor Measured Voltage - (V)
MODULES -> Body Controller -> LIVE DATA -> Intelligent Battery Sensor Current - (Amps)
MODULES -> Body Controller -> LIVE DATA -> Intelligent Battery Sensor Temperature - (F)

Residual charge can be divided by SoC % to get an idea of what the Jeep thinks of the battery capacity.
MODULES -> Body Controller -> LIVE DATA -> Intelligent Battery Sensor Residual Battery Charge in Ah - (AmpHrs)

And, you can track internal resistance for long-term trends (a spike could indicate a battery health issue).
MODULES -> Body Controller -> LIVE DATA -> Intelligent Battery Sensor Resistance at 100% SOC and 25 DegC - (mOhms)

Should have sticky on Jscan.Somethimes getting to what you need to adjust isn't always a clear path.Enabling the aux, switches took me a few tries as an example.

That’s what I meant when I mentioned I was disappointed in my first post. I got the avenger light to go away, but as it turns out, the ESS still functions even though it is disabled in the software. There may be something I missed or misunderstood, but I went ahead and bought the eliminator and that finally did the trick. Something to do with how the hardware is configured vs the software. I was happy to use it to get rid of the light. My primary reason for getting JScan was my tire size so everything else is an experiment.
You also need to unplug one of the 2 hood monitoring plunger to get the start stop fully disabled with jscan

I use the OBD Link adapter, If you use Android Auto, you can have it display live data on your radio screen.
how? jscan could be in android auto?

Not JScan, but the software that comes with the OBD Link dongle.

I didnt try it with JScan yet, didnt even think about it.

When I had a 4xe, I often used it for live data on battery status and temperature.

For the 392, I changed the locks setting, added hood sensor to alarm, and a few other light settings.

I have been disappointed in the lock setting. On my 23 I could unlock all doors with the tailgate handle when set to driver only unlocks driver door. On the 26 the only handle that will unlock all doors is the passenger door.

Also, the security gateway was MUCh easier to access on the 23, they moved something that made the 26 way harder to access.
