Just noticed when the sun was just right these slight evenly spaced markings on top of dash. You put your hand across the dash and its smooth but I being a bit OCD caught this. I marked it with a white line best I could. Anyone else happen to ever see this? It appears to be on the whole top of dash. Its evenly spaced so I wonder if there are braces under the dashThxxxxxx

Holy Cow!! You discovered the port key!!! There is a fable from long long ago that speaks of a port key on 2020 Wranglers. When opened it will allow the user and all current owners into a universe where FCA has their $hit together and quality control exists. That AND there is absolutely no f******g conversations about the new Bronco on ANY Jeep forums in that universe.
Well done! The fable goes that you put your hand across the marks, turn the far right vent 3 times counter clockwise, then 1 turn clockwise, then open the glove box and you (and all of us) will be transported.
Well Done!!!

Not to be overly technical, however, let me share what it very likely is.

It is probably part of the process for making the dash. Now a days the majority of the vehicle dash is made in one large injection press with additional components added to it. They lines / marks could be based on a factor of the dash material thickness vs. the width of the thickness of the associated cross member webs build into the injection tool.

There are many factors that can impact the appearance of the areas. Ranging from the specific material used, the tonnage of the injection press, the injection speed, the flow paths for the material in the tool and even the cooling process. Add to this, graining added to the tool and you have a complex process that is used.

possibly more info that you were looking for.

Some times, depending on the light, I can see the ribs behind the passenger side airbag cover.

It’s all part of FCA’s fine attention to detail, so I just look the other way.

Perhaps it's stress lines for the airbag? I have no idea where passenger side airbag is, but if it's under that area it could be sections of plastic that are designed to split apart to let the airbag out when it deploys. Just a SWAG though.

Just wait. I’m sure you’ll discover a lot more quality opportunities :)
Some things you choose to look the other way. Some are non-negotiatable.
Enjoy your Jeep!!!
