Got my bracket from the local dealer. Have not installed the rest yet just wanted to make sure the bracket fit. The ground wires right in front of it were not installed properly, I had to loosen them and push them down before the bracket would fit.
Yep, your bitching too much... I just checked 4 VINs in the parts catalog, 2 cloth and 2 leather.. Up level trims (leather) has a gap hider and no carpet, lower trims have no gap hider but have a strip of carpet. Not both at the same time.

I deleted mine, zero and I mean ZERO sound change. I wasn't surprised as I did the same thing (straight pipes DPF back) on a 2017 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel also with zero sound change.
