I ordered a 2026 Sahara, with most all of the creature comforts. I have waited for absolute YEARS to own one of these and I sure as hell hope I am not sorry! A little scary reading all the negativity regarding Stellantis and all the problems associated with the wranglers. Hell, I owned a Cherokee for 10 years and swore I’d never buy another Chrysler product! Don’t know why but I have not ever been able to get rid of the desire for a wrangler. So, here we go, we’ll see what happens, looking forward to enjoying the hell out of it and will just let the cards fall where they may😁. Only go around once as far as I believe and just couldn’t let it go 🤪

I agree, you only live once. Vehicles aren't an investment, but a jeep is a lot fun. I hope you have great luck with it.

I had my TJ for 14 years before I decided to trade it for a pickup. The itch for another Jeep returned in about a year.

Now I have a pickup and a Jeep. 👍

You’re going into the purchase with your eyes wide open. Many of us have been frustrated with Stellantis choices and Jeep reliability, but we still love them. They are a huge source of fun.

And, if you want to feel great about jeep quality control and reliability, buy an RV. :CWL: Most RVs under $1 million start falling apart the day before they are delivered.

Vehicles are hit or miss these days, regardless of manufacturer. I can’t complain about any of my Jeep products. I think what’s more important and can quickly ruin someone’s experience is the after purchase support. A dealers service department can make or break someone’s opinion on certain brands. My local dealership service department quickly sorted out and fixed an issue with my 24 Rubicon in just a few hours but they can’t manage an oil change to save their lives, go figure.

You are brave, Grasshopper... The poor judgement is abundant within you, but you are brave. May your path be glorious, as the outcome is in doubt.

Remember OP that when it comes to negative reviews the internet is inherently skewed. Rarely do people bother to post that everything is okay. They post when there are problems and things have gone wrong. So, if you hang out on the forums it's easy to come away with the impression that there are widespread problems when, in the grand scheme of things you're reading about more isolated incidents.

Don’t waste your time worrying about what could happen. Track your build progress, plan some spring time road trips. Figure out how and when you’re going to open the top, I assume in Palm Springs you can ru top open/ off in the winter and top closed in the summer?

Rolling through Yellowstone NP last August with the top down was an amazing experience

have fun!
