So....finally was able to take the top down once we got a break from cold and rain. Found an unwanted Easter egg not noticed when we picked it up. Found on the driver rear roll bar.

Luckily yes, which showed that it was missed at the factory during final inspections.

That should be an easy fix for your dealer then.

Not sure about that yet. They said it will require to be repainted because it is metal deep. They are working on a solution from FCA at the moment. Just waiting to here back on what they plan to do.

I'm not too upset about it though. Just hope they make it right before summer...lol.

OP, you should send a email and picture to FCA management and request a free extended warranty or something for doing the job of the employee who missed this. FCA should be able to trace back your VIN to the shift or actual employees who were obviously not doing their job. Unfortunately yours is not the first to have this problem.

There was another post by a employee that had something similar happen to them. They had a friend who worked in the paint inspection area who posted pics. The QC inspection team placed stickers like that on areas of the vehicles that needed work before leaving the plant. The employee's new JL was delivered with damage and inspection stickers still on.

Well that's unfortunate. I figured because of the sheer volume of units that are being produced, that these things would occur. The fact that the build date was right in the middle of the holidays probably didn't help as well lol. Other than this though, all the mechanicals seem to be performing well.

Where can we get those stickers? I have some scratches I would like to get fixed for free.
Local decal shop will make then, no questions asked. Lol
