My 3.6,auto. was having temperature spikes during trail rides. I swapped in the JT grill mesh with it's greater free area for air movement. Removed the underhood sound liner and engine cover, which improved air flow to the rear raised hood gap created by raising the hood hinges.

This lets the underhood heat rise out instead of forcing it down and out through the chassis. It works well. The radiator fan very seldom goes to high and only happens when extreme off-road crawling up a steep grade with A/C on.

Winch, hi-lift jack and lights do not seem to be an blockage issue. Lack of air flow out from under the hood seems to have been the issue.
Nice. I may remove the liner if I do not figure anything out. The engine cover was not there when it was purchased so I am good there. I did watch the temps when I went to get my son from work last night. Temps had dropped to 72-75. Fan never kicked on. Takes about 17min to get there and 17 to get back. Engine was still warm from earlier. Highest I saw was 225 on the way back but went back down to around 200 after a constant drive.

Do you have a Tazer? I just run cool down mode when I’m burning highway for long periods. FWIW the coolant is rated for 265*f at the factory 50/50 blend. You could bump that up a tad by removing premix and adding straight coolant. At 70% mix it’s 277*. My rig usually runs fine below 65 mph but will creep up when burning highway at 75 mph for long stretches. That’s when I use the cooldown and it knocks the temps down to ~200. I don’t think it’s really necessary and it seems that the computer is actively targeting ~230* target temp, but it makes be feel better too ?

I do not have a Tazer.

Even though increasing the coolant vs water ratio raises the boiling point, doesnt it also increase temps? Water itself cools better than coolant it just doesnt protect against freezing. Granted, temps will never get to -34 here. I do not think I have ever seen it drop out of the double digits on the coldest day lol.

Could be trapped air in your coolant system...

But all is normal, maybe swap the grille inserts to the Gladiator ones. They have larger openings.

How do you check and remove trapped air?

I see nothing wrong with the front of your Jeep. I don't know why your Jeep is getting so hot other than, it's getting really hot and the heat coming off the asphlat and pavement is hot as heck. Then again, I don't know why your Jeep would be hotter than your wife's. Perhaps change the coolant, but I bet it's fine too.

This is not answering your question, but related. But I'm in Houston and it's hot here too. I'm going to toss my hood liner in the trash and cut open my vents. That will help a lot too at slow speed traffic. I'm doing this not just for the radiator, but also the A/C cooler and trans cooler. I'm also going to swap to a Gladiator grill with larger openings. I've already ordered it.

This is a picture from my 2019 JLUR with the 3.6L Supercharged engine. I now own a 2023 JLUR with the 2.0L Turbo

I ordered a Gladiator grill too. Probably install it next week when I also cut my hood vents open.

You’ll still sit at the same temps, you’ll just have more cushion on the top end before the coolant boils. The cooling system just parks itself at ~230 and can still break the fever when it wants to. Not saying it’s right, but it’s what I’ve done just for piece of mind. I am very heavy and have a lot of added wind resistance, I did this to myself and I know it. My cooling system is functioning fine I’m sure I’m just running it hard. If you’re not in a similar situation you may let the dealership look at it.

My coolant temps are constantly hitting 230+ degrees. After it hits about 235, the fan kicks on and sounds like a jet engine. It will cool down to about 224 and then head right back up. I am pretty sure when I purchased it, it did not run this hot. Today I took my wife's down the road and ran it up to operating temp and it would fluctuate between 192-197 which is what I recall mine doing when first purchased. It is not throwing any codes or anything. However, it does seem like it likes to live at those temps. Her's is a High Tide and mine is a Beach. Other than the name, I have a tow package and convience package and she has heated seats. That is the end of the differences in builds other than cosmetics, color tops etc. Both have the 3.6L engine. I am not loosing coolant or oil etc. Any advise on this would be appreciated. I would take it to the dealer since its under warranty but I am betting they will say well its not throwing a code. Thanks.
What motor do you have?

X motor will run at 220, Y motor will run at 200 etc.
