Who is running less than the recommended street pressure of about 37psi on the streef? What are you running ? I had aired down to 27psi for a mild trail an never bothered to air up I like the tide at about 28 on the street

It varies by different tires - do a chalk test

I’m at 32 on 35/12.50/C’s and still a little over inflated. I will drop it to 30 and recheck if the colder weather doesn’t drop it soon. I don’t like to run under 30 in the warm day- cold night time of year due to the TPMS warning PITA, and that’s with it lowered to 25 psi, they had to be at least 32 psi to avoid the stock 28 psi cold morning warnings. 🤨

285/70 17 Baja Boss a/t on my 2 door. Running 29psi cold and they're perfect. At 36psi they skitter around like rollerskates on concrete wheels.

During beach driving season I'm running 20psi around here and there. If I take a longer trip, I'll go up to 32.

I’m running 31 on my 315/70-17 KO3’s. Also lowered the tpms threshold via the tazer

I run 28-30 on 35” KO2’s and don't have issues, I first tested the 10% rule then chalk tested and around 30# is good and I get very even wear.

I'm running 37 on my Mickey Bajas 315s Es with Method 106 Beadlocks on the pavement just to keep the warning light off. I put the tires on with about 3,000 miles on the vehicle and I have 7700 miles now. However, most of my miles are on the Trail and I run my tires down to 10 PSI on the dirt.

35x12.50 Kendas. Running currently at 35 psi to keep TPMS happy. Now that I have a Tazer, I'll lower the TMPS amount and drop to 30 psi and see how she does. Previous owner ran 35 psi, and the front started to develop some cupping of the treads.

Good question as I was just checking due to the seasonal temperature changes.
I was running around 32 on the stock LT285/70R17 C 116/113Q's.
I checked the door sticker which said 37.
I up' d it to 36 and it's a much harsher ride. They look to be rounded/over inflated at 37 but I haven't done the chalk test yet.

I'm running about 30 in Rubicon takeoff KO2. I bought my Jeep used and the dealer had 40 i the minivan tires. The dash display wants 36 min. I put Rubicon takeoff KO2 on it and ran them to about 50k miles, 36-38 psi. They seemed to wear more in the center so I decided I would try a little less pressure. I did a 2000 mile road trip and they performed perfectly OK.

Yes, great question and my new Willys with 285/70r17 MTs is at the stock 37psi! I can hear the rear tires slowly rubbing the tread off even on very light acceleration, they appear to have rounded tread surface at 37psi, going to try 32psi and see, adjust from there. Probably do the old chalk test too, thinking 30-32psi is probably going to be the sweet spot on the road...lower pressure off road of course.
