I have been trying to get a set of 4 tire deflaters that work. The ones I have only lasted a few times and won’t stay adjusted anymore. I even took them apart and tried to clean them. I would like some recommendations on ones that work and not a waste of money. I checked Amazon and it wasn’t any help. What is working for you?
I have a set of Coyote deflators that were an absolute bitch to get dialed in. I had them set the 15 PSI, which became a problem when I wanted to change it down to 10 PSI. Knowing that it took me over an hour to get it dialed in the first time, dropping down 5 PSI was not ideal and wasn't a activity I was looking forward to. So I bought a set of these instead

$26 Amazon deflators with easy PSI setting and a cute high quality carrying pouch

While the numbers on here are confusing as to what you have to line them up with, you can adjust these pretty damn easily. The only thing I would say is after you get them set where you want them, put some blue thread lock on them, because they do have a tendency to move around if you don't handle them perfectly.

But still, it took me about 20 minutes to dial in all four of these, versus an hour and a half with the coyote deflators. I have mine set for it 10 PSI right now, and they are extremely accurate, within 0.5 PSI difference based on my first hand experience.

As for long-term usage. I set up these Amazon deflators the weekend after my purchase of them back in March of this year, used them in my April May June and July off-roading trips, and then we'll use them again November 1st when we go out to Barnwell. For $26, more than worth the money!!

I use the Morrflate system. All 4 down quick and equal pressure everytime. No little deflators to deal with keeping track of or setting up. Just a pressure gauge.

Went from Boulder Tools deflators to an ARB deflator and I'll never go back. Takes my tires down from 27 to 12 in less than a minute.

I have the Morrflate hose system for airing up, but I’m too lazy to drag the hoses out to air down. I use a cheap ammo carrier for my deflators. They go in a pouch with my back up MF tire pressure gauge.

You can see the tire pressure by using the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. I find it very slow to respond to the pressure change.
No. Not that. There is a tire setting of some kind on the radio you can select. I’ll have to get a picture.

not a bad setup. I might use deflators if I had them. Before the Morrflate, I had a single ARB deflator and was doing 1 tire at a time. Once on 37’s that was way too much work and time to continue with.

The hose is a bit cumbersome, but I make it work. Getting a duffel bag helped so I didn’t have to loop it all just right to fit in the bag it came with.

Sounds like you have a system that works for you. That’s all that matters.

I have Over-Sand tire deflators. I have used Staun and Coyote tire deflators with good results, but there are no reference marks so I would use a black sharpie to make a line as a reference to try to fine tune adjustments. Even if the Over-Sand deflators are not 100% accurate out of the box they seem consistent and repeatable across the 4 deflators.

For example setting them all to 12 PSI might show 12.3 to 12.5 taking into account my AutoMeter, Morrflate and Jaco tire gauges aren’t 100% accurate. But you have reference marks to make very small adjustments on the deflator.

This deflator pictured is set to 12 PSI with 10 at the top ring and +2 at the bottom. It’s far less complex than me trying to explain it.

Thanks for your input I really appreciate it. I’m going to go with Over Sand. I like the adjustable option. Thanks for all the suggestions!

I have a 2018 JLR and it has a smaller display. I must say the large display looks nice!

The only other system I'm aware of that might be as quick as the Apex is the Teraflex wheels. I ordered a full set of seals for the Apex valves to rebuild them if something happens on the trail where it won't hold air.
