I just run my cheapies wide open and watch the pressure gage on the dash. Sometimes I’m running pretty fast to get to a tire but it’s pretty quick and pretty accurate. Just gotta stay engaged in the process.
My dash readout has too much lag for me to trust them for airing up or airing down. Maybe it’s just mine.

I've been using this Alien tire deflator. I don't air down very often. When I do, I'm only airing down from 33 to 18psi. It works well for me.

Rant: of course it says, unavailable. Gosh dang, everything I buy and own is unavailable, untouchable, unobtainable, unreachable, out of stock, out of business, out of town, recalled, replaced! SOB! What the heck!!!!!

I'm another Apex Rapid Deflator fan. I put them in a year or so ago and love them. The great part is that I can air down in about 4-5 minutes from opening my door to 10 psi. The bad part is @SadRobot and some of the other usual suspects are still sitting around eating my stash of cookies while they casually wait to air-down with those slow thingies. So, I'm thinking of going back to a nail to air down.

I’m thinking whoever is eating the cookies you were kind enough to share should be airing down and airing up for you 🤷

I have been trying to get a set of 4 tire deflaters that work. The ones I have only lasted a few times and won’t stay adjusted anymore. I even took them apart and tried to clean them. I would like some recommendations on ones that work and not a waste of money. I checked Amazon and it wasn’t any help. What is working for you?
I have Rhino. So far so good

I have both Staun & Over Sand - set to different psi - and both work very well.

My 2 cents…
1. Think about the time you need to spend deflating tires
2. How often
3. Also consider the time to re-inflate to your desired tire pressures

I have a lot of shit in my garage, Rhino, Staun, ARB, Etc deflators.

my go to always are… (I also have the 4 tire inflation system), I only take half of it (2 wheels at a time), a Milwaukee portable inflator for my J201 which has smaller tires, and a portable ARB twin for the Jeep.
VI Air and other stuff eat dust and are for other people… VI air by default stays in my Wifey’s BMW with run flat tires 👍

I just realized I am not able to edit my comment 😒, just to clarify…

ViAir compressors are top quality, and they will work when needed (according to my usage), they just don’t pump enough air to fill larger tires :().
That’s the reason the ViAir is in the BMW 👍

My Viair 440P has been filling my 37s for 3 years. It's not quite as fast as an ARB twin. But, I'm only a few minutes slower. I believe the 440P is their largest single compressor.

I can only speak for 33" tires. I have the Viair 300P. It's been perfect for my use. Solid & trustworthy 👍

They will work with stock wheel. Just make sure you get the shorter version. The longer version is for a deep stem bore. They also accept your OEM pressure sensors.
Good to know. Thanks!

I think they came out with one that’s just a bit better now if I recall correctly. Not worth the upgrade though.
