I have a new-to-me 2019 JLU with the silver 17X7.5 rims. At this time I do not want to modify the Jeep in any way; no lift, no cutting, etc.

To my eye the current 245/75/17 tires look far to small for the wheel openings. How tall can i go before I start to experience rubbing or other issues? I am not interested in monster tires; I was thinking maybe 33"

My use case is as follows: I live in a somewhat unique place; an island off the coast of Massachusetts. Our highest speed road is 45MPH, we have no highways, and we like to drive on the beach as often as possible. The island is somewhat more temperate then the mainly; we rarely get snow. We do get a fair share of rain, however. So I would like a tire with the following if possible: good in beach sand, able to be aired down to ~15psi (sidewall thickness/strength), and good on-road manners. It is currently our only vehicle so I need to balance the off vs on-road capabilities.

a lot of people on here recomend finding some Rubicon take-offs.....they're fairly common on Facebook Marketplace. can pick them up pretty reasonable, will fit your wheels, and measure 32.8" x 11.5" should be no problem at all.

33's should be fine for your needs.

I'm going to suggest the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT tires. I've been running them for just over 2 years and they are fantastic.

You'll likely get many responses and primarily ones suggesting the BFG KO2s, which are also fine, but my preference is the Coopers.

33s will fit. Here’s my gfs wrangler on my Gladiator Mojave take offs (no lift). They are a metric equivalent 33”

Worth noting that those Falken Wildpeaks on the gladiator wheels are HEAVY. Like 91 lbs a corner. Idk what the stock sport wher and tire weighs but it has to be sub 50 just based on changing them and slinging them around.
