Let's just suffice it to say...there's a LOT of info on tires/rims/wheels out there. Kinda overwhelming. So I'll try to keep my question simple here in hopes getting some good simple intel - thanks!

I've got stock wheels and stock suspension right now. 2019 JLU Sport. The most off-roading I'm likely to do is moderate fire roads in the southeast. I got my Wrangler to (1) simply have a fun and capable vehicle, and (2) to take the top off for driving the Blue Ridge Parkway to waterfall trailheads.

I'm not interested in a lift right now. And I'm leaning towards some ProComp 33" wheels (love the old school look of the classic black steel holes) - and perhaps a small leveling kit just to give me a little bit of clearance for the tires.

So here comes my questions:

1. I DO want a slightly more aggressive stance - so if I get some ProComps with 0 offset - will these stick out a little bit more than my stock setup?

2. Any suggestions on specific leveling kits? (knowing that I'm not looking for a 'lifted' look per se)

3. I've heard that the tires in the attached photo (BF Goodrich K02 / All-Terrain) are great all-around tires. Agree? Worth the money? Any other worthy suggestions for a 75% ON road / 25% OFF road tire with a slightly more aggressive look than stock?

4. With 33's and a leveling kit - what am I likely to notice as different when driving?

Okay that's it for now - thanks in advance!
- Eric

Assuming 33x12.50R17s:

You are probably a good candidate for a Rubicon takeoff suspension.

3. I've heard that the tires in the attached photo (BF Goodrich K02 / All-Terrain) are great all-around tires. Agree? Worth the money? Any other worthy suggestions for a 75% ON road / 25% OFF road tire with a slightly more aggressive look than stock?
Yes, Yes, there are a handful of other decent options, Falken Wildpeak, Toyo AT3, etc.

Higher COG, slower acceleration, may give up some wet traction but I don't know how the stockers are.

@GATORB8 thanks for the info!

Re: the Rubicon takeoff suspension - do I just call around to local offroad specific shops - or really anyone that might have taken one off recently?

My $0.02; although, with current interest rates and changes in the CPI, I would suggest it's probably worth more like $0.05.

Try a Teraflex spacer lift, 1.5 - 2.0 and BFG AT/KO2 tires in: 265/70/17, 275/70/17, 285/70/17, or 34x10.5. Those tire sizes are approximately 31.5" - 34" and should fit. They will impact "power", but they are narrower than a 33x12.5 so you'll save a little weight, have slightly better mpg and better handling in almost all conditions. I would absolutely shy away from a 12.5" (315mm) wide tire, as it offers no benefit to your driving style or conditions as stated in your original post. You can use your stock wheels for any of the sizes I posted, and if you want different wheels, you can get the ones you want with very minimal difference in handling.

This is the easiest and best choice, so you can stop reading here and just place your order. You're welcome.

@AcesandEights - one follow up question. Doing research on that Teraflex Spacer Kit (looks great btw). A good number of people mention pairing this with Pro Comp Suspension Extensions. Seems like it is probably an overkill for what I'm needed....or a very simple upgrade later if I want it.

What's the benefit of the suspension extensions?

Thanks again!

If you're talking about shock extensions, they essentially move your shocks (shock mounts) so you aren't over-extending/collapsing your stock shocks. I don't know you'll need them if you're just running forest service roads, but they serve a purpose. Hell, throw those in your cart too. Why not. It's only money, right?

Need to add bump stop extension equal to the shock extension.
