It's beer that you buy in a grocery store.

Until recently, in PA you could not legally purchase any type of alcohol in a grocery store, gas station, convenience store etc.
Seriously?? That’s crazy! Lemme guess you could buy cigarettes though right?

Tube doors look strange to me. look silly, no function….. whatever not my Jeep but those have always been a head scratcher for me.
My thoughts also, initially.

PA is currently the only state in the nation with language in our Vehicle Code prohibiting doorless [Jeep] driving. There's a bill current in the Legis. that would allow it, if or when signed into law. Until then, though, to affirmatively avoid the related citation I have purchased and will use tubular doors as a reasonable proxy.

Their other function is to allow excellent lateral visibility when driving off-road while maintaining a reasonable element of safety (thus their alternate nickname being trail doors.) The protection they provide crosswalks to on-road driving, particularly when young children are passengers.

So, while they may not be to everyone's taste, tubular doors do indeed provide several distinct functions.

Is this a Jeep site? With threads like this and all the Toyota posts I’m starting to wonder.
If I was on a beach or the middle of nowhere yes sure...maybe I'm just missing a hot young girl in the passenger seat to show off....?

Is the wind buffering worse in the JL‘s? Never had a problem with it in my JK.
Yes. I think it's because of the more slanted back windshield. It allows the wind to slide over and into the cab. Older models kinda pushed the air up and away more.

This is Kroger's brand... I don't see why some folks consider this a good thing, but to each his own....

KrogerBeer.webp
Because NOBODY will drink/steal one out of your cooler.
I call it "Safety Beer"... for those gatherings or parties you really don't want to go to, and that one relative you can't stand (and we all have one) is sure to do two things: Be annoying and mooch beers. The good beers stay hidden in the jeep.

That’s the only reason I have a Jeep. If it weren’t for the doors and top off ability I wouldn’t even consider one. Comparing it to a motorcycle I’d much rather get T boned in a Jeep.
Same here. The doors will be off this week as we're breaking 70 degrees!
