Appreciate this info. I know all the features the taser has but all Iād really use it for is just adjusting the speedometer to the new tire size. Didnāt know the tasers were locked to each individual jeep
Im not bauking. Iām looking to save some money if I can. I just spent thousands of dollars on tires and a lift and all kinds of other stuff. So because I want to save some money where I can Iām cheap and donāt deserve to drive a jeep? Nice.
Thereās got to be people out there who will charge $25-$50 to recalibrate the speedometer for people who changed tire size. So cheapskates like me donāt have to buy a tazerā¦.. right?
When I was a kid my momās boyfriend got a CJ7 and I thought it was the coolest thing ever! I wanted a Wrangler ever since. Finally got my first one last year.
I posted on this forum a little over a month ago. In the Northern California section. Zero responses. I thought if my prices were asking too much somebody would say something. I got nothing. Was asking $200 per tire or $700 for all 4. And asked $225 for the new one.
So I put a lift and 37s on my Willyās. And Iām looking to try and sell some of the take offs
(If itās even worth doing) I have 4 32 inch Firestone Destination MTās with 10,000 miles on them. And one with zero miles on it. (ā¦I know)
Also have the springs and shocks which I believe are from the...
No noise but they bounce around pretty good. The materials are pretty decent (the mirrors seem fragile) but they can be adjusted at three different points and can be torqued down tight. Didnāt feel like anything was gonna strip.
I really like adaptive cruise. Got used to it and miss it on my willys. Also itās such a stupid thing to miss but damn do I miss the beeps when backing up. I relied on that more than I thought I would. Iād love to have it again. Especially with the less than great backup camera quality.
Put some door off mirrors on and made a hard top hoist. Went the ā[Banned Site]ā route. Was easy and pretty cheap and was able to take the top off myself.
Lowered the psi in my tires down to 35. Definitely feels more like stock. Probably keep it here for while. Maybe go a few psi lower. Iām surprised America tires put 40psi in them.
And shout out to JP52. I checked that shock and was able to get about 1 1/4 turn on it. Havenāt heard the clicking...
It is within rim width according to America/discount tire. Not trying to be a smart ass or argumentative. I've had a lot of people say you canāt. But you can. Maybe they changed it recently? Not sure?
