I did flush out the radiator. I guess I have to check the axle and transfer case tubes. Thanks for the advice.
No problem, and if you're going to keep going in deep water, maybe extend those breather tubes to higher locations.
There are check valves at the ends of the tubes that are supposed to let air out and nothing back in, but they can fail. And if they have, some fluid changes are in order as well!

You can briefly traverse water that is deeper than the stock fording depth. Just don’t linger in it more than a few seconds or so.
Exactly this! The water fording depth from Jeep is the safest possible depth. It's like the speed rating on tires, Load rating on a roof rack, or the 1 time use recommendation on condoms.

Maybe go back and edit your original post to something that actually happened.

I almost drowned my JL. Drove through a pretty deep puddle where the water got up to the hood bumper and then started smoking steaming. I think it’s time to invest in a snorkel. Close call.

Everybody knows that a vehicle with a snorkel is completely invinceable, especially the Toyotas that you see with snorkels at the mall.
Yup. Never saw one Toyota with a snorkel hung up at a mall, ever?. Seriously though-that wasn’t even close. Once waves break OVER the hood, THEN you’re close.

How was the video shot ? Drones ? Cell phone stick/suction cups or additional vehicle/people ?

Nice video, looks fun.
