I got a little worried because after going through the water this happened. But I guess the water was sitting on top of the hot engine.
Have the 2.0T? Mine looks like that whenever I cross water. Scared the crap out of the other Jeepers in my group at the Drummond Island Jeep Jamboree in 2022... those little engines get hot!

I almost drowned my JL. The water got up to the hood and then started smoking. I think it’s time to invest in a snorkel. Close call.

Somebody is just using a click bait post on this forum to get some YouTube views as that was not a close call what so ever as every comment has said the same

My curiosity is why does it seem everyone who does outdoor stuff feel a need to be a Youtube personality and film everything they do. For the average overland camper, it really can't pay that much. Does it?

Everyone has different hobbies. Sometimes it’s not about the money. I do it because my family loves it. Especially my kids. They get to see places and learn different things instead of being on their iPads and social media. I want them to see and learn about the nature and not just tall buildings. Sometimes city life can be very toxic.

Riding through the woods is one of my favorite things in the world, so I watched the entire video. While nicely done, there's nothing I saw that would match the text in the OP's post. What I saw at 4:58 barely reached the top of the tire, and then only for a second. My stock Sport could handle that.

Maybe edit the clickbait thread title to suggest that a nice forested trail video awaits.
ditto, and if you did go into water that deep, dont go into water that deep, maybe??

Plus I don’t get paid ?
But you’re trying to and that’s why you post your videos up in the forum.
Clicks = views/subscriptions = monetization.
You’re not the first. A couple other folks tried that and either became sponsors (briefly), stopped or got banned.

I guess you don't get paid with only 28 subscribers.
Maybe do something off-road, that people might want to see, and subscribe to.
