Those of us that really don't give a flying fuck about light shows would have no clue whether they worked or not. Live or not live.

I accidentally activated Light Shows a couple times when I first experimented with my Tazer - obnoxious, feature should be removed.

I settled on JScan for the hood alarm, just to avoid the damn Tazer hood alarm Light Show.

It's one of those "oh, this is cool" things that quickly becomes "oh, how the fuck do I disable this so I don't accidentally enable it" things.

"Vehicle Settings" get written to the Jeep's PCM and work with the Tazer removed.
I changed my tire size, TPMS limit, Disabled fog light drop out, disabled Halo lights.
All still work with the Tazer removed (but still married).

"Live Functions" are features of the Tazer that only work while it is connected.
Lightshow is one of them.

I believe you confused "Non-Menu" with "Live".

In Tazer terms "Live" is a function that works only with the Tazer plugged in, whereas "Settings" stick when the Tazer is removed (as I originally stated).

ok. I typed it wrong. When the tazer is removed the programmed key fob light show will not work. Neither will the live light show work. When the tazer is plugged back in the key fob light show DOES work. Not that I give a shit abnout light shows. Are there any easter eggs in the tazer?

One of the "Easter eggs" I discovered was magically disabling my sway after using cruise. I eventually got that one to go away after lots of working with them, reflashing it several times, and lots of finger crossing.

The most recent "Easter eggs" were random weird errors on / behavior of the dash. I didn't think they could possibly be from the Tazer, but they all cleared up when I took it out.

Simple things like the garage remote working longer, turn assist, and disabling that GD three hooks were awesome, but not worth it to have it screwing with fundamental electronics.

I had the Swaykill + Cruise Control error twice when I first mapped the button. But I kept the Tazer installed full-time, and it's been over a year since the error last occurred (with lots of CC, and intentional off-road Swaykill use).

I have the OEM front and rear camera. When going through the Tazer menu it asked something similar to “camera yes or no”. I chose yes thinking, yes I do have an OEM camera. What the Tazer wanted to know was did you install an aftermarket camera so it caused problems until I reversed what I had done. The other mistake I made was to activate both the turn signal cam and allow nav changes while in motion which the instructions (once I read them) said would cause conflicts with the camera.

From installing the Tazer? The camera functionality comes back when you remove your Tazer?

no. I lost the camera function after removing the tazer to use the SGW for the key programming. Afer I put the tazer back in there is no back-up camera.
