2020 Tazer Mini vs 2023 Tazer Mini.

Is there a difference between a Tazer Mini purchased in 2020 vs one purchased today? I have an opportunity to purchase an unmarried 2020 Tazer Mini JL at a reduced price and don’t want to miss out on any features.

Just make sure you update with the latest firmware and they should be identical.

I purchased mine used in 2022 and I know that I’m at least the third owner of it, so who knows how old that one is…

I can’t speak with absolute certainty—I don’t have a taser—but ZAutomotive has instructions on how to update firmware if it’s out if date (latest is from 11/14/22). I would imagine that only the firmware has changed and not the hardware.
