about 2 months back I had this reoccurring code problem P058 a or something took of the dealer they could never find anything wrong. Said it was a taser. They pulled the taser and it went away.
When I got it back, I put the taser back in adjusted my tire size and ITPMS and left it in
I had it at a Jeep tech shop to do some shock work and in the process of flexing it out they went to disconnect the front sway bar and nothing they can’t find anything wrong with any other fuses. Can’t find anything wrong with the wiring or connections and they had some other real oddball codes that I can’t remember what they are now I’m wondering if the sensitivity of these Jeep electrical systems is affected by the taser ?
And it seems like there are random instances where somebody installed the taser fog lights are gone or somebody installed a taser and cameras are gone?
What are you guys think anybody else experiencing this kind of weird electrical behavior?

My Tazer just randomly, or at least it seems, deactivated my front axle. I reset that but now I have 4WD indicator lights on the dash.

Maybe I'm a lucky one, but I've had a Taser on my 2021 JLUR for 4 years and never had an issue. Also had one on a 2019 JLU for about 3 years until we sold the vehicle, again no problems.

These threads are so pervasive across all Jeep forums. It’s lost on me why people risk using the Tazer.
The tazer may cause some problems…it also gets blamed for things it can’t possibly have any effect on. It’s like the new “push in your fuses” or “delete your aux battery” response when people don’t understand a problem.

I understand and realize my post did not provide any real value to the OP. I get correlation is not causation. I’ve wanted one so bad but with the price and all the stories I read I just couldn’t justify the live features. I hope OP gets it sorted. Clear codes. Run it without Tazer. If you have a real problem it should come back fairly quickly.

Not saying you’re wrong. I know any tazer problems I had were caused by my misunderstanding (or lack) of directions. The last change made should always be the prime suspect, but sometimes it’s just a coincidence.

it was working fine but when they turned this swaybar disconnect onto cycle through the suspension it quit and they haven’t been able to find anything to link that too, so that’s why I was curious about it could be the taser. This should be my third taser and I’ve never had an issue before, but my understanding is a new jeeps have a lot more sensitivity to electrical issues or deviations
