I currently have tazer married. I have to bring it to dealership for some work to be done. Dealership doesn't care of tazer is installed. Thwy may need to connect to read codes. I've read that I can disconnect tazer and unlive functions work. Question is do I need to reconnect sgw cables for them to be able to connect and read codes

If it was me, i would un-marry it and put it back to stock before going in, to eliminate any possible issues happening.. It does not take a long time to un-marry and re-marry the tazer.

They'll be able to read your codes through the OBD2 port while the Tazer is connected.

What issue is related to having 37s?
Sway bar disconnect light blinks on dash and control switch blinks anytime I drive. It's in 2wd so it won't disconnect. Sensors have been replaced. Jeep engineer recommended to program correct tire size and then see what it does. . Idk. So I reconnected my tazer with their permission

As long as they know it's there and to not do any software updates without having you unmarry the tazer, I think you'll be fine. Not having the the SGW connected doesn't interfere with reading/clearing codes via OBDII.

@HydroPaul

Only a Tazer JL owner that is not Tazer JL savvy / knowledgeable or is real lazy or both..... knowingly leaves a married Tazer JL hooked up to his JL and does not re-connect the security gateway when he takes his JL to a dealership Service Dept.

I stated above the reason why. But thanks for trying to insult me. And you're probably one of the many that thinks a tazer voids your warranty

Wonder why ZAutomotive, in the Tazer JL instructions tells you to unmarry and disconnect the Tazer JL when going to a dealership Service Department. Talk to Joe the owner of ZAutomotive and he will tell you the same thing.

I would rather give you correct Tazer JL related info then to give you misinformation....

My posts are meant to help all here and not just you. My post was not meant to be a personal attack/insult.

Obviously, you are clueless in regard to the Tazer JL, the Dealership Service Dept., WiTechll computer, Warranty concerns, the JL and more.

Do your homework... and also take into consideration that most Service Departments and their Techs are not at all Tazer JL savvy.

Best thing to do is to do is you first unmarry your Tazer JL and you program the tire size with JSCAN.
Yes, you just need a $25 JSCAN license and a scan tool to do this. The unmarried Tazer JL will do security gateway bypass duty.

Once you program tire size, be sure to reconnect the 2 cables at the security gateway so when the dealership Tech hooks up the Service Dept. WiTechll computer there will be no issues or false readouts/reports in regard to a disconnected/not functional security gateway.

Of course, your other choice is to umarry the Tazer JL and to reconnect the security gateway and then have the dealer Tech try to program tire size. Yes, it will cost you $125+ to do that.

Now, after dealership gives you your JL back, you hook up and remarry your Tazer JL.

Note: When the dealership hooks up their WiTechll computer to a vehicle, now you have Stellantis in the mix.
It is no longer just the clueless dealership Service Writer or some(s) Tech in the mix. You know the ones that said they did not care you have a programmer. No, now you also have Stellantis in the mix.

In closing, a Tazer JL savvy / knowledgeable owner, does not knowingly leave a married Tazer JL hooked up to his/her JL and does not re-connect the security gateway when they take their JL to a dealership Service Dept.

You do realize what is being told to you by ZAutomotive. They are not telling you that it is aok to bring the married JL to a dealership but the contrary. They mention to re-establish the SGW. They go on to mention the BCM caveats, etc..

Again, Tire size programming on your JL should be done ahead of time with a non married programmer.

For your JL... the Tazer JL should be unmarried and the SGW re-established and only then THEN, the dealership Tech troubleshoots the issue your JL has. The Tazer JL should not be in the mix. You do not know what the dealer Tech will throw at the JL with their WiTechll computer.
