Hello folks! I have a TAZER JL Mini question. I just installed my JL Mini (firmware 11.4.6) on my 2020 JLUR, which caused a CEL U0168, which is a “Lost Communication With Vehicle Security Control Module” issue according to Google. I cleared the code and it appeared to fix the issue. A few hours later I was running some errands and the CEL came back, same code, U0168. I did use my auto-start because it’s hot and I wanted to get the AC running when it threw the code. I don’t know if that has something to do with it, although I used the auto-start earlier in the day with no issues.
I’ve searched the FORUM and found one thread from a few years ago about this, but it seems the OP’s issue went away with the first code clear where mine came back within hours. Just looking to see if anyone else has had or is having this problem? Any suggestions on addressing this issue? I haven’t really had a chance to use this TAZER, but if it’s going to throw CELs every day, I may have to move on from it, which would suck.
