I installed an X-Factor lift set-up. Both the front and rear sway bar arms slope up to the link. Maybe this is normal, but the rear slopes 7 degrees and the front (no limits link) slopes 22 degrees.
I installed them at the recommended length, which includes the fronts being set at their shortest settings.
Can anyone confirm of the sway arm angle should be this steep?

Thanks

Do you know what your links measure center of bolt to bolt fully collapsed ? Mine are the 10” ones, and I had to extend them another 1/2” because I was getting to straightened out at full droop. Even with them at 10.5” I’m at about 14 degrees. You may have the longer links for higher lifts. IDK.

The RK directions say 2.5"-10", 3.5"-11-11.25". 4.5"-12"

So you have a 10.5" link at 14 degrees on a 3.5" lift?

I have a Teraflex lift, and the front angle is even higher, almost 30Âş. The lift is 3" in the front and the links are about 11". The reason is exactly as shown in @Roky s post above. Because of the disconnecting swaybar on the Rubicon, there is enough droop for it to lock up.

As @Roky said you should be fine. The upslope is a good thing as long as you aren't rubbing anything at full up travel. Bad would be not having enough up slope that allows the sway bar link to straighten with the sway bar at full droop, at that point you risk the sway bar flipping under which is something you don't want when the suspension compresses, things will be broken.

This has nothing to do with function. Sway bar effectiveness is sway not articulation. 14° is perfect however look up sway and compare to crawl...

Bumping this for clarification. Would this be considered angled up? Mine is similar (maybe not as drastic of an angle) but I get confused when people say it should be level or angled “up” a little at ride height. To me, the front of the sway bar is angled down in this pic but maybe I’m thinking in opposites lol.

So by angled up, do people just mean the ends of the bar where the links meet are higher up than the front of the sway bar? (At ride height)
